I absolutely love drawing snails. Being able to draw them with a variety of mediums and colours I hope can somewhat help to show what wonderful creatures they are.

There is so much to see all around you. Especially in Spring, new shoots and beach finds are always great to draw.

        A Frog's Life

The frogs in our washing up bowl pond have never laid frog spawn. However it does get you to thinking about what lies beyond the pond for them.

I love thinking back to my childhood and using the prompt set up by Children's Picture Book author and illustrator @Helen Stephens has really helped me to tap into some great memories.

I love Swifts, seeing them return again this year lets me know that the weather is taking a turn for the better. Swift's mean sunshine and warm weather and the move towards more daylight hours.  But they are also creatures of mystery and folklore as well as being just simply quite amazing!
